TRUTH: You can purchase a home for as little as 3.5% Down. As well there are many buyer assistance programs to help you purchase a home.
MYTH: I need to have 20% Down to purchase a home.
MYTH: I need to have perfect Credit to purchase a home.
TRUTH: while we all would love to have perfect credit, that just is not that case for many. most qualify just fine, even with moderate credit.
MYTH: My lease isn't up for another 6 months I can get started in a few months.
TRUTH: While 6 months feels like a good amount of time, once you find a home it takes 30 to 45 days to close. Even if you have a bit of time, it is always smart to start planning.
